The Petroio property spans over 13 hectars of Chianti Classico vineyards, 3 hectars of Rosso Toscano IGT, 3 hectars of olive groves, and over 100 hectars of forest and fields. All the vineyards and olive groves are farmed following the organic production regulation. Sustainability and preservation of natural resources and habitat is at the heart of the Petroio production philosophy.

Nurturing Vineyards, Honoring History
All vineyards have been replanted and modernized since the Lenzi family took it to heart to producing Chianti Classico of quality. Starting in 2008 and finishing only in 2021 all 16 ha have been replaced and improved. With vine densities have at least 5500 plants per hectar, to allow us to reduce the pressure on each plant and foster the quality of each cluster.
